USERNAME UPDATE:

  1. It is only necessary to use your same username when leaving comments on Two Writing Teachers Slice of Life Challenge posts. You can use any name for commenting on other slicers.
  2. If it is difficult to sign in with a consistent username, then leave a note in your comment indicating the username you started the challenge using. This will allow Christy to track slicers with a little more ease.
  3. As always, if you have a question ASK! Please don’t let a silly thing like a username keep you from slicing with joy!

WRITE. Each day in March write a slice on your own blog.

SHARE. Link your post here (using the SAME username each day) before the comments close. (Comments typically close around 5 am.)

GIVE. Comment on at least three other slices.

Please play fair. Only one link per day!

( I am new to blogging and my daughter just pointed out that two of my posts did not actually get published and were sitting in my drafts. I am going to post them here today anyway because I have written everyday and I feel badly that they didn’t go through. I did wonder if they were really bad because there were no comments 🙂

  2. Parenting a teen has its ups and downs (and she may not forgive me for this post): http://kaymcgriff.edublogs.org/2013/03/07/a-cool-mom-after-all-slice-7/
Oops! I think I may be guilty of using different user names since I didn’t pay attention to the auto fill from different computers. I think I’ve fixed it now, but some posts may have shown up as Kay or with my full name Kay McGriff. I’ll pay attention from now on!

  3. I missed yesterday. Yes, I have excuses – my daughter is missing her 5th day of school due to ear infections and bronchitis, etc and I am now worn down and was just plain tired last night BUT . . .I am not going to give up. Just like my post about scrapbooking today: LITTLE THINGS can easily get overwhelming and stressful but I am trying to make a conscious decision about what I want my daily life to look like, what I want to accomplish, and what I will spend my time doing. This Slice of Life Challenge is one of my starting points. So enjoy!
