Sorry I haven’t been posting with you. I’m writing but the month of July is all about co-facilitating my writing project’s summer institute. I am on the computer all the time but I don’t get here.
I will be back!

Stacey, I know that you are on a blogging break, and I hope that everything is going well as you get settled into your new town. I have a question for either once you get back to blogging or for Ruth if you have some suggestions.
Earlier in May you answered one of my questions and posted about your students’ idea notebook as homework. I just wanted to clarify, is it that they have an idea notebook that is exclusively for homework in addition to a writer’s notebook that they use during writer’s workshop? I also wanted to know if you assign the idea notebook for every day even on weekends and holidays.
