I am a literacy consultant who focuses on writing workshop. I've been working with K-6 teachers and students since 2009. Prior to that, I was a fourth and fifth-grade teacher in New York City and Rhode Island. Hi Stacey and Ruth,
I hope it’s okay that I keep linking MM and Slice of Life Tuesdays with my photo a day challenge. It’s been so much fun to find something new each day to photograph and then write to it
Today I focused on my youngest niece turning 18.

My students and I are starting the memoir unit of study today. (A LOT earlier than usual this year… love it because Memoir shouldn’t be rushed.)
That being said, here’s the link to an exercise I did to help me prepare for one of my minilessons: http://365in2009.wordpress.com/2009/02/02/who-am-i/.
