Five Students Will Receive This Invite Tomorrow.
I feel like someone handing out bids during Rush, which is not a great feeling. However, this is the invite I’m extending to five students for a lunchtime writing group, which will start this Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed that it’s well-received by all!

  1. Thanks for the response. Somehow I could not find the response to the question about the publishing buffet versus the publishing party, what is the difference? My friend saw your response to me but I couldn’t find it.

I looked at their answers to the questions, https://twowritingteachers.wordpress.com/2008/12/11/looking-for-a-few-interested-writers/, and then immediately ruled-out anyone who said they didn’t want to come up at recess. Then, I ruled out any student who is writing regularly in his/her writer’s notebook. I’m essentially looking for kids who wouldn’t mind doing some extra work with me, but don’t write nightly.

    Does that help?

    I picked three girls and two boys, which reflects the girl:boy ratio in my class.
